Season Greetings from the team at tashly consulting
As we draw to the close of another year, it is a great time for reflection. Twenty Sixteen for Tashly Consulting has been a year of growth, expansion and success. This year saw the launch of our 1-day Xero Interactive Workshops, and we successfully ran 4 workshops between June and November training 27 attendees in small group sessions. We will be running more of these workshops in 2017.
Twenty Sixteen also saw our business turn Sweet Sixteen and grow up to leave the nest. Tashly Consulting had been running from a home based office, but this year saw us spreading our wings and taking up a permanent office space in Sass Place Parkside. This has given further opportunity to grow and expand our offering, and also provides access to better meeting facilities and use of the boardroom for our workshops .
The greatest recognition of our success came in September this year when it was announced that Tashly Consulting were the winner of the Xero SA/NT Bookkeeper Partner of the Year Award. This Award acknowledged our ongoing commitment to the Xero product and in the service delivery to our clients.
We also received recognition from MYOB for our ongoing commitment as an MYOB Certified Consultant for 15 years, and continue to offer support to clients who prefer to remain with this product.
Looking forward to 2017, we are continuing to expand and grow our four core business offerings:
Bookkeeping – regular ongoing bookkeeping services for clients, assisting with the day-to-day processing and reconciliations.
BAS Review & Lodge – monthly or quarterly review of client files for those who are comfortable managing their own bookkeeping including electronic lodgement through the BAS Agent portal and extending the lodgement and payment deadline extensions that come with it.
Consulting – adhoc services for clients who generally manage their own processing in house however require assistance in more advanced bookkeeping queries or a ‘fix-it’ service if something has broken
Training – small group and 1:1 sessions for small business owners or their accounts staff. We are broadening our training offering in 2017 and are also delivering training to accountancy firms looking to upskill their internal staff on Xero.
Thank you to our valued clients for their ongoing support and loyalty, to accountants who have worked with us in providing best outcomes for our mutual clients and all our extended network who have shared our amazing journey throughout 2016.
