We are a small but efficient team, servicing a large portfolio of clients. We’ve been in business since the year 2000 and many of our clients have been with us for years, while others have joined us more recently.
One of the things we love most about our business is the unique relationships we have built with our clients.
Each of our bookkeepers is assigned a portfolio of clients, which means they get to know each other intimately. By taking full ownership of their allocated client files, members of Team Tashly build their own relationships and will work with each individual business to add value at every stage of their growth.
Our clients regularly tell us how wonderful it is to work consistently with the same bookkeeper, who truly understands their business and their needs.
Customer service is exceptionally important to us, so we also create customised manuals for each client which outlines their work and the key steps or criteria that need to be followed.
This supports our bookkeepers and helps them maintain consistency for each client. It also means we have a safety net if another bookkeeper needs to step in during periods of leave or absence (we are human, after all). Our clients also benefit from this system because they know that any one of our Team Tashly bookkeepers can seamlessly pick up their job if needed.
All of this happens in our friendly, light-filled office space at Walkerville, with plenty of free unrestricted, onsite parking. Did we mention that we are a paperless, cloud-based business working with Xero and DEXT (formerly known as Receipt Bank)? You won’t find any overflowing filing cabinets here!
Our team use ergonomic sit/stand desks with dual monitors, and we have an infinite supply of quality pod-espresso coffees and herbal teas, because a comfortable team is a happy and productive team!
Our bookkeepers at Tashly Consulting enjoy a balance between working autonomously and as part of the team, with a weekly team huddle to acknowledge our wins for the week and discuss solutions to any challenges we’re facing.
We’re also excited to be introducing ‘innovation hour’ where members of Team Tashly can spend time on any work-related project they choose. We can’t wait to see what interesting ideas and improvements come out of this – if there’s a better way to construct a spreadsheet, we want to know about it!
